Virtualitics, an artificial intelligence data analytics company, has appointed industry veterans Rob Ferguson and Rob Bocek as chief revenue officer and president of public sector, respectively, as part of efforts to expand its focus on national security and governmental platforms. Virtualitics said Wednesday that Ferguson will oversee go-to-market teams tasked with helping companies meet their objectives through advanced tech adoption while Bocek will lead the company's strategic growth efforts in the U.S. defense and public sector markets.

Science and technology company A-TEK has appointed Reuben Maher as chief strategy and growth officer. A-TEK said Tuesday that in this capacity, Maher will work to implement the company's growth strategy by expanding its offerings and its presence in select federal agencies.

Defense contractor AeroVironment has added retired four-star U.S. Army Gen. Joseph Votel to its board of directors. Votel served in the Army for almost four decades, holding a variety of leadership positions, most notably head of the U.S. Special Operations Command and, prior to his retirement in 2019, head of U.S. Central Command, AeroVironment said Monday.

Chris Pateras, formerly director of operations at the U.S. Special Operations Command, has assumed the position of account executive for the Special Operations Command unit of SOS International. He brings to the role over 30 years of special operations experience and will be responsible for enhancing the company's intelligence, information operations, training and logistics services provided to SOCOM and its subordinate commands, SOSi said Tuesday.
