ASRC Federal will serve as a subcontractor to Space & Technology Solutions on the $719 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity Omnibus Multidiscipline Engineering Services III contract it had received from NASA earlier this year. ASRC Federal said Thursday that under the deal, two of its subsidiaries will provide hardware and software engineering services to help develop and validate technologies that would enable future NASA space and science missions, including those for the Joint Polar Satellite Systems and Exploration and In-Space Services programs.

Palantir has received a potential $115 million award from the U.S. Army to extend its work on the service branch’s Vantage platform. Under the one-year contract, Palantir will continue to support the Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems by operating and upgrading the open data and analytics platform, the Denver, Colorado-based company announced on Friday.

The U.S. Air Force used predictive maintenance applications enabled by artificial intelligence and data analytics to lower maintenance costs and ensure mission readiness, wrote Liz Martin, Department of Defense director at Amazon Web Services. In an article published Thursday, Martin explained the Predictive Analytics and Decision Assistant, co-developed by the Air Force and C3 AI and launched in AWS GovCloud.

HII has secured a $100 million cost-reimbursable modification to its contract with the U.S. Navy for the construction of the future USS Enterprise nuclear aircraft carrier. T-Rex Solutions has received a subcontract from Agile Defense on a single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity deal worth up to $1.01 billion meant to support the Defense Information Systems Agency. T-Rex said Tuesday that, under the Test, Evaluation and Certification II contract, Team Agile will provide various services to the Joint Interoperability Test Command, including test and evaluation planning, results reporting and data collection and analysis for various functional areas.
