Raytheon, an RTX business, will produce high-power-density gallium nitride transistors to enhance the electronic capability of radio frequency sensors under a four-year, $15 million contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. RTX said Thursday it will integrate military-grade GaN transistors into radar systems to increase range and radar resource management capabilities as part of DARPA's Technologies for Heat Removal in Electronics at the Device Scale program.

REI Systems is partnering with Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions on a potential $85 million blanket purchase agreement to provide reporting and data-related information technology support to the Health Resources and Services Administration. An RTX business has received a $53.4 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to further provide support for the dual band radar systems installed aboard Gerald R. Ford and Zumwalt-class ships. The modification exercises the fiscal 2024 option for DBR design agent and technical engineering follow-on requirements on a previously awarded contract, the Department of Defense said Monday.

The Defense Innovation Unit has awarded contracts to GE Aerospace subsidiary Innoveering and Hermeus to develop prototypes of hypersonic test systems for the Department of Defense under the Hypersonic and High-Cadence Airborne Testing Capabilities program. Through the HyCAT program, Innoveering will work with subcontractors Specter Aerospace and Starfighters International to build a prototype air-breathing hypersonic testbed, DIU said Monday.
