SAIC will deliver information technology services for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs through a potential 10-year, $60.7 billion award. IT services provided under the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation Two contract, or T4NG2, will span 11 functional areas and support both the VA and additional agencies, SAIC announced from its Reston, Virginia headquarters on Wednesday.

NASA has announced the modification of a task order awarded to Jacobs under the Aerospace Testing and Facilities Operations and Maintenance contract. NASA said Tuesday that under the task order, Jacobs will work to upgrade the electrical system of the Ames Research Center's Unitary Plan Wind Tunnel, making its main drive motors more capable and efficient.

Spire Global will provide the National Oceanographic and Oceanic Administration with radio occultation data to support its weather forecasts, climate research and other agency efforts. The company said Monday that data delivery will run for eight months under an award made through an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for NOAA's Commercial Weather Data Program's Radio Occultation Data Buy II acquisition.

Parsons has received a three-year, $21 million task order from the National Nuclear Security Administration through a previously awarded blanket purchase agreement to provide design and construction management support for the New Mexico-based Los Alamos National Laboratory. Under the task order, the technology-driven services provider said Monday it will deliver project management and control as well as construction subject matter expertise in support of the facility’s capital line-item projects exceeding $4 billion.

BAE Systems has secured a six-year, $48.8 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to enhance a company-built system used to support real-world operations via analytics, open systems frameworks and enhanced capabilities. The research and development effort for the BAE Systems Insight System aligns with the Insight Integration initiative, the Department of Defense said Monday.

NASA has increased funding for two commercial space stations meant to succeed the International Space Station, which is scheduled to retire in 2030. The agency announced Friday that it added $57.5 million for the Starlab station of Voyager Space’s exploration segment, as well as $42 million to the Orbital Reef station conceptualized by Blue Origin.

DSC-EMI II, a North Carolina-based government contractor, has secured a potential $76.4 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy to provide base operating support services for Naval Base Ventura County in California. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest conducted a competitive procurement process for the award and received six bids, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Maximus has received a contract from the Internal Revenue Service to help develop two systems. Under the $32 million Data Delivery Services award, Maximus is responsible for improving existing technological components and processes associated with these systems, the Tysons, Virginia-based company announced on Friday.

The U.S. Air Force awarded Applied Research Solutions a $48.75 million contract to study and develop closed-loop sensing, reasoning and data processing technologies for military missions. The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract will cover multiple defense domains and is scheduled for completion by April 2, 2029.
