L3Harris has taken multiple steps forward in its responsibilities under a U.S. Air Force contract to modernize avionics for the C-130H aircraft. These achievements include the first flight and delivery of the initial round of prototype aircraft for developmental and operational assessment, the Melbourne, Florida-headquartered company announced on Thursday.

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Darkhive, Rise8 and Second Front Systems indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract modifications worth $95.1 million each for work on the Autonomy Prime program. Darkhive's AFWERX Autonomy Prime contract involves the delivery of small unmanned aerial systems, software development and integration; Rise8's contract involves the provision of software development tools and services; and Second Front Systems' contract involves the delivery of the Game Warden platform and the provision of embedded services, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

U.S. Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal has awarded Oshkosh Defense an $89 million contract to upgrade Heavy Equipment Transporter A1 tractors. Oshkosh Defense said Wednesday that, under the firm-fixed-price contract, it would supply 1,384 modification kits to convert the HET A1s to the Enhanced Heavy Equipment Transporter System tractor. The conversion also allows the vehicles to meet European road permissions at required payloads.

CACI has received a $64 million task order from the U.S. Air Force to provide hardware and systems engineering services for a ground-based system that supports the service branch’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations. The company said Thursday it will enhance the shelter operations of the Distributed Common Ground System in support of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Command, Control and ISR Division.

T-Rex Solutions has received a subcontract from Agile Defense on a single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity deal worth up to $1.01 billion meant to support the Defense Information Systems Agency. T-Rex said Tuesday that, under the Test, Evaluation and Certification II contract, Team Agile will provide various services to the Joint Interoperability Test Command, including test and evaluation planning, results reporting and data collection and analysis for various functional areas.
