EnCharge AI, Princeton Partner on DARPA Project to Develop Advanced Chips for Artificial Intelligence Workloads

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has awarded a grant worth $18.6 million to Princeton University and technology company EnCharge AI, which have partnered on a multi-year project under DARPA's Optimum Processing Technology Inside Memory Arrays program. The $78 million OPTIMA program seeks to develop compute-in-memory accelerators for the handling of artificial intelligence workloads relevant to defense, EnCharge AI said Wednesday.

Carahsoft to Provide Rendered.ai Synthetic Data Generation Services to Public Sector; Michael Adams Quoted

Carahsoft Technology will serve as a master government aggregator for Rendered.ai to offer synthetic computer vision data subscription services and products to government clients. The requests for proposals were posted to Tradewinds earlier this month and all center upon responsible AI usage, said Dr. Matthew Johnson, senior technical advisor at the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office.
