The military vehicle manufacturing business of General Dynamics has been awarded by the U.S. Army a contract to support Stryker brigade combat teams. Under the $210.3 million deal, General Dynamics Land Systems will provide parts for SBCTs, along with shipment, warehousing, configuration management, repair, obsolescence management and disposal services, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Carahsoft Technology will serve as a public sector distributor for SAS, offering the North Carolina-based company's suite of analytics, artificial intelligence and data management products. Under the collaboration, Carahsoft said Tuesday it will offer SAS Viya, SAS’ cloud-based, responsible data and AI platforms to government agencies.

Leonardo DRS is investing $120 million in the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Charleston, South Carolina, for the production of electric propulsion components for the U.S. Navy. The new facility will include over 140,000 square feet of space to manufacture, integrate and test large components.

Atlanta-based global conglomerate Cox Enterprises has made a majority investment in OpenGov to help the latter advance research and development work on technological capabilities for government customers. The latest investment brings OpenGov’s valuation to approximately $1.8 billion.
