Carahsoft to Offer BlueVoyant Cyber Defense Services to Public Sector; Alex Whitworth Quoted

Blockchain Cybersecurity Technology Provider Eyris to Receive Pre-Seed Funding From Incubator Red Cell Partners

Incubation firm Red Cell Partners is providing cybersecurity technology developer Eyris $3 million in pre-seed funding meant to allow the company to start a Department of Defense pilot program and offer services to other federal agencies. Eyris offers blockchain-based security and ransomware mitigation products that are cloud- and encryption-agnostic and work to integrate with various existing applications, Red Cell said Wednesday.

AWS Secures FedRAMP High Authorization for Wickr Communications Encryption Service

Amazon Web Services has secured High authorization under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for its end-to-end encrypted service available for AWS GovCloud customers in the U.S. West region. AWS Wickr is an encrypted communications service that uses a 256-bit encryption technique to enable government and commercial customers to secure group messaging, voice and video calling, screen sharing and file sharing, AWS said Thursday.
