DZYNE Technologies has secured a seven-year, $49 million contract through the Small Business Innovation Research program to conduct research and development on advanced unmanned aerial systems for the U.S. Air Force. R&D efforts will include improving flight performance, sensor capabilities and flight endurance of long endurance UAS, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

CACI has booked a $420 million contract to provide engineering services for two U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command components. Responsibilities under the five-year, single-award task order include mechanical, electrical and modeling and simulation engineering support, CACI announced from its Reston, Virginia headquarters on Tuesday.

Parsons will collect and analyze advanced geophysical classification data to support Camp San Luis Obispo Munitions Response Site 05 remediation efforts under a potential five-year, $21 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The company said Monday it will serve as a subcontractor to the PIKA-Insight joint venture, which manages environmental and munitions-related remediation work at the former defense site.

ICF has received a $78 million task order from the U.S. Forest Service via the General Services Administration’s information technology contract vehicle to create a scalable cloud application for wildland fire mitigation. The Department of State has approved the Israeli government's request to purchase nearly 14,000 tank shells and related equipment from the U.S. government under a potential $106.5 million foreign military sales agreement. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said the State Department waived congressional review requirements under the Arms Export Control Act to supply Israel with 120mm M830A1 High Explosive Anti-Tank Multi-Purpose with Tracer tank cartridges from the U.S. Army inventory.

RTX has secured a potential five-year, $20.8 million contract to build and demonstrate two wideband passive sensor systems for the U.S. Navy's Birdseye Yonder effort. The Office of Naval Research solicited bids for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract under a long range broad agency announcement and will obligate funds in the Navy's fiscal 2023 research, development, test and evaluation budget, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

The National Reconnaissance Office awarded five companies contracts to provide commercial electro-optical capabilities to the agency. The Strategic Commercial Enhancements contracts were granted to Airbus' U.S. Space and Defense business, Albedo Space, Luxembourg-based Hydrosat, Muon Space and Turion Space, NRO announced Tuesday.
