Rocket Lab USA Deploys 2 Satellites to Separate Orbits for NASA, KAIST

Rocket Lab's U.S. subsidiary has deployed two satellites to different orbits approximately 500 km apart using its Electron rocket for NASA and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Electron's 47th mission lifted off from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 in Mahia, New Zealand, carrying the NEONSAT-1 payload developed by KAIST and the Advanced Composite Solar Sail System from NASA, Rocket Lab USA said Tuesday.

Oshkosh Defense to Deliver Additional ROGUE-Fires Unmanned Ground Vehicles to Marine Corps

Oshkosh's defense business unit has secured a $40 million contract from the Marine Corps Systems Command to build and deliver Remotely Operated Ground Unit for Expeditionary Fires carriers for use in the service branch's ground-based, anti-ship missile launcher. The delivery order covers the procurement of the ROGUE-Fires carriers in support of the Navy Marine Expeditionary Ship Interdiction System, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Drone technology developer Red Cat has partnered with Sentien Robotics to deliver an autonomous drone-swarming capability to military customers to enable defense and security operations in land, air and sea domains. The Department of the Treasury's Internal Revenue Service has begun seeking information on a potential $512 million multiple-award blanket purchase agreement covering information technology portfolio management support services for the IRS' Enterprise Case Management system. A notice posted Wednesday on SAM.gov states that the BPA has an ordering period of five years and encompasses strategy and planning, enterprise services and operations, cybersecurity, user and network services and program management services.
