Oracle’s government cloud offering has received authorization to host the Department of Defense’s secret classified workloads. With the Defense Information Systems Agency Impact Level 6 accreditation, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is now available to defense customers at all classification levels in support of their missions, the company said Monday.

A Palantir Technologies subsidiary has received an other transaction authority contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to develop a planning tool prototype for the Department of Defense’s Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations. DISA said Friday that under the $9.8 million OTA, Palantir USG will work with the U.S. Strategic Command and the combatant command JEMSMO Cells to create the Electromagnetic Battle Management - Joint Decision Support prototype.

Verizon Response Teams joined the U.S. Air Force, the Mississippi National Guard and the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency in PATRIOT 24, a training exercise meant to prepare participants to carry out rapid response work following natural disasters.
