CGI Federal has booked a potential 10-year, $69.9 million task order from the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs to continue offering consular services in five nations across the Asia Pacific region. Under the contract, CGI will extend its provision of on-site processing functions for consular services in Australia, Fiji, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea by implementing an upgraded version of its Atlas360 product, the Fairfax, Virginia-based enterprise announced on Tuesday.

The Department of State has approved a possible foreign military sale of 36 AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles to the government of Lithuania. The transaction, which has a total estimated cost of $100 million, includes an AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM guidance section, common munitions built-in-test/reprogramming equipment, ADU-891/E adapter group computer test sets and AIM-120 spare control sections and containers, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Monday.

The State Department is warning U.S. citizens traveling anywhere in the world "to exercise increased caution". In an Oct. 23 travel advisory, the department called for vigilance on the part of U.S. citizens when visiting locations frequented by tourists and recommended that they enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program.

A Leidos-led team will help the Department of Defense develop and integrate climate resilience strategies into its core functions and reduce greenhouse gas emissions under a potential five-year, $100 million blanket purchase agreement. Tetra Tech has secured a spot on a $450 million, multiple-award U.S. Environmental Protection Agency contract to support Great Lakes region environmental restoration efforts.
