The Space Systems Command has selected BAE Systems for a prototyping effort intended to enhance the U.S. Space Force’s capacity to facilitate the rapid integration of next-generation assets as they come online. Astroscale's U.S. business has secured a $25.5 million contract from the U.S. Space Force to build a small satellite capable of conducting uninterrupted refueling missions in geostationary orbit. Kim Crider has been appointed to the board of advisers of satellite design and manufacturing company Proteus Space, bringing to the role years of software and technology implementation experience.
