Leidos has secured a six-year, $55.3 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy to provide operations support services for the Carderock Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center. The Department of Defense said Friday Leidos will offer logistics, maintenance, operations and program management assistance supporting Navy and Marine signature silencing programs for naval ships and undersea systems at the Southeast Alaska Measurement Facility.

The U.S. Navy has awarded CACI International a potential five-year, $59.9 million contract to operate and integrate information operations payloads into unmanned aerial vehicles supplied to joint forces. The sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a three-year base term valued at approximately $37.5 million and a two-year option period that could bring the ceiling amount to $59.9 million, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

Lockheed Martin will collaborate with Intel and its newly launched standalone business Altera to build a sensor open systems architecture-based airborne electronic defense platform for the U.S. Navy's MH-60R multi-mission helicopter to support a program of the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. RTX subsidiary Raytheon has received a potential two-year, $287 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to provide recertification and modernization support for 166 Tomahawk Block IV all-up-round missiles. General Dynamics' electric boat subsidiary has christened PCU Idaho, the U.S. Navy's 26th Virginia-class nuclear-powered fast-attack submarine, which is designed to support anti-submarine and surface ship warfare and special operations. Terry Stackley, the ship sponsor, performed the bottle break that christened the vessel, which is the first Navy submarine to be named after the state of Idaho, General Dynamics Electric Boat said in a LinkedIn post published Sunday.

QED Systems has secured a potential five-year, $383 million contract to provide specification development and availability execution support services in support of the U.S. Navy's ship maintenance efforts. The company will support the maintenance of the Navy's guided-missile destroyers and cruisers, landing platform dock, dock landing ships, landing helicopter assault, amphibious assault ships and littoral combat ships, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
