A joint venture between EMI Services, a TechFlow subsidiary, and Diversified Service Contracting has secured an eight-year, $76.4 million contract from Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command to provide base operations support services at Naval Base Ventura County in California. DSC-EMI II will perform infrastructure readiness support, environmental support, utilities management, regulatory compliance and other facilities management services, TechFlow said Wednesday.

Thales subsidiary has received a contract from the Defense Innovation Unit to prototype a family of advanced standard batteries designed to simplify logistical and network operations. Under the contract, Thales Defense & Security Inc. will utilize processes already employed to support the AN/PRC-148 radio family of batteries to manufacture hundreds of prototypes of the Small Tactical Universal Batteries by 2025, the company said Wednesday.

The Earth and Space Observing Digital Twin, a collaboration between aerospace and defense company Lockheed Martin and multinational technology company NVIDIA, recently achieved a milestone when it demonstrated the ability to accurately display in a timely manner sea surface temperature with the help of artificial intelligence. CACI has booked a potential five-year, $81 million Defense Intelligence Agency task order to help the agency’s National Media Exploitation Center, or NMEC, transform databases. CACI International will provide the Defense Intelligence Agency with enterprise network modernization support under the eight-year, single award Enterprise Communications Services task order. Work will be carried out in support of the DIA's office of the chief information officer to meet a variety of network infrastructure requirements, including system design, implementation, operation and maintenance, CACI said Tuesday.
