HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division has concluded the builder’s sea trials for the San Antonio-class landing platform dock USS Richard M. McCool Jr. in preparation for its delivery to the U.S. Navy in the spring. The company said Thursday the vessel, with hull number LPD 29, underwent systems testing in the Gulf of Mexico.
