Great Mills, Maryland-based defense contractor J.F. Taylor has acquired software company Clear Creek Applied Technologies as part of a push to expand its portfolio of training systems and mission support platforms for the Department of Defense and its international partners. CCAT is a Dayton, Ohio-based company that has been developing and delivering mission-critical software applications and test and evaluation services to the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and foreign military partners for nearly two decades, J.F. Taylor said Monday.

Chenega’s security strategic business unit has acquired E&M International for an undisclosed sum as part of a push to broaden its capacity to deliver critical fire and emergency services and capabilities to existing and future customers. Albuquerque, New Mexico-based EMI is focused on providing fire alarm systems, mass notification, emergency communications and clean agent fire suppression technologies, Chenega said in a press release received by Executive Mosaic on Monday.

Everbridge shareholders will receive $6.40 more per share under the newly-amended merger agreement between the critical event management and national public warning systems provider and Thoma Bravo, a software investment firm. Everbridge said Friday that its agreement with Thoma Bravo was modified after a third party offered an alternative acquisition proposal that set a higher price than the original transaction.

Reston, Virginia-based Satelles is a provider of satellite-based time and location services that work to complement and secure GPS and other GNSS-reliant systems, Iridium said Monday.

J&J Worldwide Services and CBRE Group have inked a definitive agreement for the latter's acquisition of the Arlington Capital Partners portfolio company for $800 million in cash. In addition to the initial purchase price, the deal has a potential earn-out of up to $250 million, payable in 2027 and subject to J&J meeting certain performance thresholds, the Austin, Texas-based mission support services provider said Monday.

RTC Aerospace, a portfolio company of private equity firm Stellex Capital Management, has acquired Vanderhorst Brothers Industries, a Simi Valley, California-based manufacturer of precision aerospace parts. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed but RTC said Tuesday the deal will expand its product portfolios and capabilities to produce high-precision components for aerospace and defense applications.
