Great Mills, Maryland-based defense contractor J.F. Taylor has acquired software company Clear Creek Applied Technologies as part of a push to expand its portfolio of training systems and mission support platforms for the Department of Defense and its international partners.

CCAT is a Dayton, Ohio-based company that has been developing and delivering mission-critical software applications and test and evaluation services to the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and foreign military partners for nearly two decades, J.F. Taylor said Monday.

Wayne Taylor, president of J.F. Taylor, said CCAT’s expertise in building and delivering training platforms aligns with the company’s mission of providing comprehensive support capabilities to customers.

“This acquisition broadens our portfolio and positions us to better serve the evolving needs of our customers in the digital age,” he added.
