IT consulting and services provider IT Concepts has appointed Jim Stein as vice president of national defense. IT Concepts said on LinkedIn that in his new role, Stein will be responsible for leading the company's U.S. Air Force and Defense Intelligence Agency teams, and in so doing help grow the company's presence in the Department of Defense.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has named woman-owned professional services firm Dignari an awardee of the Enterprise Small Business Blanket Purchase Agreement under the professional services track. U.S. defense technology company Anduril Industries has entered into a strategic partnership with South Korean commercial and military shipbuilder HD Hyundai Heavy Industries. The Air Force Materiel Command has issued a request for information for the follow-on to the North American Aerospace Defense Command Cheyenne Mountain Complex – Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment and Space Support Contract II, or NISSC II. The U.S. Department of State has approved a request by the Ukrainian government to acquire articles and services related to the sustainment of the HAWK Phase III missile system. The $138 million foreign military sale covers spare parts, test and support equipment, tool kits, missile recertification components, engineering and integration, refurbishment and system overhaul, logistics and program support and contractor technical and field office support, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday.

Verizon Business has partnered with NASA to enable the space agency to deliver a live broadcast of the solar eclipse set to take place on April 8. The partnership, which saw support from Leidos, involves the provisioning of a 1 gigabyte E-line service connecting the John Glenn Space Center to the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Verizon said Friday.
