NASA is seeking information on industry sources capable of providing information technology and professional support services under the third iteration of the NASA Research and Education Support Services contract vehicle. NRESS-III is an 8(a) small business set-aside indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that provides support services for NASA's peer review life cycle processes consisting of the development and solicitation of proposals, proposal review and disposition of proposals prior to award, according to a notice posted Tuesday on SAM.gov.

TRAX International will continue supporting NASA and several of its facilities under a potential $46.8 million contract extension. The company supports NASA's headquarters in Washington, D.C., Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland; Wallops Flight Facility and Langley Research Center in Virginia as part of the Goddard Logistics and Technical Information II contract, the space agency said Tuesday.

NASA-designed collision avoidance software has been tested onboard two research helicopters of Lockheed Martin's Sikorsky division as part of efforts to evaluate the autonomous technology to enable advanced air mobility. Five software systems were loaded into the Sikorsky Autonomy Research Aircraft, a modified S-76B converted into a flying lab, and the larger Optionally Piloted Vehicle Black Hawk.

Jacobs and its subcontractors have been supporting NASA in operating a ground-based 3D-printed habitat for the Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog program, which aims to simulate year-long stays on the surface of Mars. The company said Friday it continues to work with NASA and additional contractors on monitoring the activities of a four-person crew living in the isolated CHAPEA habitat at Johnson Space Center as a prime contractor for the JSC Engineering, Technology and Science II contract.
