Leidos has deployed a potable water dispenser to the International Space Station to help astronauts sustain quality water in space and support space exploration research efforts. The Exploration Potable Water Dispenser provides ISS crew members with potable-quality water for hydrating dry food and beverages and features an updated design for transmitting health and status telemetry data to assess system performance and allowing updates through ground commanding, Leidos said Tuesday.

Leidos and the University of West Florida have established a cybersecurity training laboratory in UWF's Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering to help bridge the skills gap in the cybersecurity sector. The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health said Tuesday that the first wave of overseas distribution brings the platform's deployment rate to 91 percent.

A team composed of L3Harris Technologies, Leidos and MAG Aerospace will compete for a U.S. Army program to develop a fleet of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft to gather operational intelligence against the country’s adversaries. Leidos has booked a $14.1 million follow-on contract with NASA for the building of laser air monitoring systems to be used in future Artemis missions. The 19-month extension increases the total contract value to $37.8 million, which covers fabrication and delivery of four main LAMS units and one spare for the Artemis III, IV and V programs, the company said Tuesday.
