VivSoft Technologies has received a contract from the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Cryptologic and Cyber System Division to extend its work on Platform One, or P1. Issued through the Small Business Innovation Research program, this award is VivSoft's second contract under the P1 initiative and aims to solve enterprise-wide digital identity challenges, the Fairfax, Virginia-based organization told ExecutiveBiz on Thursday.

The U.S. Army and the Defense Innovation Unit have selected eight companies to prototype autonomous software and processes to advance the use of uncrewed vehicles in challenging military operations as part of the Ground Vehicle Autonomous Pathways project. DIU said Wednesday the GVAP project seeks to provide a technical pipeline to support rapid modeling, development, testing and fielding of autonomous features.

An RTX subsidiary has secured a $40.6 million contract from the U.S. Navy to enhance the technology readiness of the Controlled, Advanced, Distributed Radio Frequency Effects initiative.
