The Department of State has approved North Macedonia’s request to procure Joint Light Tactical Vehicles and associated program and logistics support services from the U.S. government under a potential foreign military sales agreement worth $111 million. Oshkosh Defense, AM General, Leonardo DRS and L3Harris Technologies will serve as principal contractors in the proposed FMS deal, which includes the procurement of 18 additional M1278A1/A2 JLTV heavy gun carriers and seven JLTV general purpose vehicles, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Friday.

William Scott, formerly deputy vice president of range systems at General Dynamics' Mission Systems business, announced on LinkedIn Friday that he has joined Ultra as vice president of programs at the company's maritime division. Scott first joined GDMS in 2007 and stayed with the company until 2016. During that period, he held multiple roles, including systems engineering technical manager, Littoral Combat Ship program manager, and later, LCS senior program manager.

The mission systems business of aerospace and defense company General Dynamics has named William Scott deputy vice president of range systems. Prior to his new role, Scott served as General Dynamics Mission Systems' director of advanced airborne systems and, before that, senior manager of the company's littoral combat ship program.
