Leidos will develop four Medium Range Air Defense Radar prototype systems under a two-year, $32 million contract awarded by the Marine Corps System Command through the Consortium Management Group. Four companies have secured other transaction authority agreements from Space Systems Command to develop ground-based command and control system prototypes to support missile warning satellites. Ball Aerospace, Parsons, General Dynamics and Omni Federal each received a 16-month, $9.75 million Phase 1 contract for the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution Command and Control prototype project, the National Security Technology Accelerator announced Wednesday.

Northrop Grumman and L3Harris Technologies completed a critical design review of a relay ground station for missile warning and tracking, which will be used by the U.S. Space Systems Command in the Pacific. Northrop said Thursday that it is developing Relay Ground Station-Asia under a contract with the U.S. Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, which plans to replace its missile warning system by 2025.
