Frontier Technology Inc. will establish its Operational Research Bridge for Innovation and Technology Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to facilitate secure collaboration and knowledge transfer in the space operations domain. FTI will invest $15 million in the construction of the new 46,000-square-foot secure facility and create 200 job opportunities in advanced visualization, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science and software engineering, the Colorado Springs Chamber & Economic Development Corporation announced Tuesday.

The Department of State has approved Latvia’s request to buy six M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System launchers and related equipment from the U.S. government under a potential $220 million foreign military sales agreement. Lockheed Martin will serve as the prime contractor in the FMS deal, which will enable Latvia to enhance its capability to address existing and future threats and improve interoperability with the U.S. and other allies, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday.

The Department of State has approved a possible foreign military sale of 36 AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles to the government of Lithuania. The transaction, which has a total estimated cost of $100 million, includes an AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM guidance section, common munitions built-in-test/reprogramming equipment, ADU-891/E adapter group computer test sets and AIM-120 spare control sections and containers, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Monday.
