U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to recompete a multiple-award contract for the procurement of cloud computing services. CBP expects the acquisition effort to have a ceiling value of over $100 million and anticipates release of a solicitation for the planned indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract by May 1, according to a notice published Wednesday on the Acquisition Planning Forecast System.

SAIC will deliver information technology services for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs through a potential 10-year, $60.7 billion award. IT services provided under the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation Two contract, or T4NG2, will span 11 functional areas and support both the VA and additional agencies, SAIC announced from its Reston, Virginia headquarters on Wednesday.

General Dynamics Information Technology has received the Amazon Web Services 2023 North America Collaboration Partner Award for delivering artificial intelligence and machine learning services in support of the Navy Enterprise Service Desk program. The recognition marks GDIT's third AWS award, following the Government Competency Public Sector Consulting Partner Award in 2019 and the Global Public Sector Partner Award in 2021, the General Dynamics business unit said Thursday.

Noelle Russell, an artificial intelligence executive with more than two decades of industry experience, has been named data and AI market lead at Accenture's federal services business arm. She will oversee go-to-market and innovation strategies to drive growth across Accenture Federal Services' data and AI practice in her new position, the company said in a media alert released Tuesday, of which Executive Mosaic has received a copy.

The Department of Homeland Security is planning to award a contract worth up to $100 million to procure operations and maintenance services in support of its Student and Exchange Visitor Information System. According to an Acquisition Planning Forecast System notice, DHS requires design, development, test, deployment, O&M, engineering and security support for the web-based system that manages data on international students and exchange visitors.
