A joint venture between AECOM and HDR has won an eight-year, $72M contract from the U.S. Army to provide architectural and engineering services in line with ecosystem restoration and coastal storm risk management initiatives in Freeport, Texas.
The contractor will carry out planning, technical analysis, construction phase and survey services as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Army Corps of Engineers received five bids for the competitively offered contract and the service branch will provide funding and location details at the issuance of task orders.
DoD expects contract work to conclude by Oct. 15, 2027.
