Oshkosh's defense business unit has secured a $40 million contract from the Marine Corps Systems Command to build and deliver Remotely Operated Ground Unit for Expeditionary Fires carriers for use in the service branch's ground-based, anti-ship missile launcher. The award was issued to Tyto Government Solutions as part of the service branch’s ITES-3S contract vehicle supporting the Army’s Europe Infrastructure Modernization Capabilities Set, the company announced from Herndon, Virginia on Tuesday.

An RTX business has secured a $212.5 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to help develop, modernize and maintain mission systems and mission system equipment of Zumwalt-class guided missile destroyers. Raytheon will perform combat system engineering and provide miscellaneous items for the Navy ships over a one-year contract option period, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Honeywell has secured a potential eight-year, $70 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide spare parts for a company-built radar altimeter technology used in U.S. Army helicopters. The Department of Defense said Friday the contract will cover spares and repairs for the Radar Altimeter Common Core APN-209, including receiver transmitters and indicator receiver transmitters.

Conti Federal Services has won a $63 million firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for hangar facility construction at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. AeroVironment has received an initial order under a potential $249 million U.S. Marine Corps contract supporting the Organic Precision Fires-Light program of record.
