Andrew Jarrett, formerly senior director of the COLOMBIA integrated power systems operating unit at Northrop Grumman, announced on LinkedIn Friday that he has been promoted to vice president of marine systems. Jarrett commenced his tenure with the defense and space manufacturer in January 2020, initially assuming the role of quality and mission excellence director before advancing to senior director of the company’s launcher systems operating unit.

General Dynamics' mission systems business has booked a five-year, $82.8 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy for the continued procurement, manufacturing, testing and delivery of AN/USC-61(C) Digital Modular Radio systems. The contract also covers the provision of engineering services and sustainment support for the DMR systems, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
