Leidos has selected five resellers and original equipment manufacturers for this year’s Supplier Innovation and Technology Symposium awards to recognize their contributions to the company’s production efforts for information technology, science and engineering programs.
The Reston, Va.-based firm said Tuesday that Amazon Web Services, which was named Alliance Partner of the Year for supply chain-level integration and implementation initiatives, was also promoted from Technology Integration Partner to Corporate Strategic Partner within the Leidos Alliance Partner Network.
Bob Gemmill, vice president of strategic sourcing at Leidos, said AWS “made key investments into the relationship that led to force multipliers in technical innovation, collaboration, and cloud adoption for our mutual customers.â€
Other suppliers recognized by Leidos include Dell Technologies as this year’s innovation partner, Carahsoft Technology as value added reseller, TVAR Solutions as small business VAR and Databricks as emerging technology partner.
