PAR Technology’s Rome Research Corp. subsidiary has received a five-year, $15.9M subcontract from BAE Systems to maintain government communications facilities that support the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific program.

RRC will command, control, telecommunications, computers and intelligence and strategic communications services, the company said Tuesday.

Efforts under the contract are intended to support the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Missile Defense Agency and the U.S. Navy’s foreign allies in the Indian Ocean and Pacific areas of responsibility.

“RRC has a long history of integrating, managing, and controlling a variety of communication interfaces between the Defense Information System Network terrestrial and tactical satellite communication assets and continues to provide critical support to numerous DoD operating locations around the world,” said Matt Cicchinelli, president of PAR’s government business.

NCTAMS PAC aims to protect, maintain and handle the Navy’s DoD Information Network segment to support the service branch’s fleet operations in the Pacific region.
