Veritas Technologies has released two new cloud-based technology offerings designed for data archiving and electronic discovery operations.
Veritas said Tuesday it partnered with bluesource and ProjectHosts to make Veritas’ Enterprise Vault and Discovery Accelerator platforms available to government agencies through a software-as-a-service level cloud environment certified under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
Enterprise Vault and Discovery Accelerator work to help users manage their data beginning in the creation stage to the disposition phase.
Tom Kennedy, vice president and general manager of Veritas’ public sector business, said the new offerings are intended to help agencies “develop a holistic information governance strategy, while complying with the U.S. government’s FedRAMP security mandate for cloud-based services.â€
“Our software is hosted and delivered from a SaaS-level FedRAMP Moderate cloud environment built on Microsoft Azure,†Kennedy added.
Veritas Technologies, which spun off from Symantec, adopted its current name in January 2015.
