SRI International and a Polish research-and-development agency have formed a partnership with the goal to foster technological innovation and establish a community of scientists and researchers in Poland.
The Menlo Park, California-based nonprofit said Wednesday it will collaborate with Poland’s National Centre for Research and Development to design and carry out a series of challenges and an advanced research projects initiative.
Leszek Grabarczyk, NCBR deputy director, said Poland seeks to emulate U.S.’ approach to identify new technologies designed to help organizations address complex problems.
SRI and NCBR will train program managers and end-user liaisons on advanced research requirements for the first fifteen months of the project to support the development of organizational culture and program ethic.
The nonprofit noted it will also provide advice to the first batch of program managers as well as help NCBR accommodate two more classes through recruitment, training and mentorship programs.
