Samsung Electronics America and Booz Allen Hamilton have jointly developed a new security assessment offering that works to identify the risks, threats and vulnerabilities of an enterprise’s mobile infrastructure.
Booz Allen said Monday the partnership aims to help clients in sectors such as finance, healthcare and retail to address cybersecurity issues and adopt what the firm refers to as a “mobile first” strategy.
“The ubiquity of mobile devices today means that businesses of all sizes can make significant gains in business outcomes, but many struggle with deploying enterprise-grade security to adequately protect their critical IT systems,” said Sam Phillips, vice president and chief information security officer for Samsung’s business services segment.
Phillips added the joint offering works to provide intelligence and tailored security tools for an organization’s mobile operations.
Clients of the Samsung-Booz Allen partnership will receive a two-day on-site security framework assessment and mobile security recommendations based on their industry and risk tolerance levels.
