Radiant Insights Sets Drone Launchers Market Value at $1.2B by 2021

Radiant Insights has released a report that predicts the drone launchers market will reach a $1.2 billion value by 2021 as the unmanned aerial systems market grows.

The report indicates that the expansion of the drone market worldwide will create increased demand for aircraft launchers that do not require an airfield, Radiant Insights said July 9.

“Systems integration, communications capability and payload technologies are slated to support market growth going forward,” said Susan Eustis, lead author of the study.

“Market growth comes because as the defense budgets of the industrialized nations will fund the technology for launchers in order to create good enough surveillance and strike capacity,” Eustis added.

Radiant Insights also noted the rise in demand for portable launchers to store and transport drones.
