Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium Hints at Potential COVID-19 Contracts - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium, an organization partnered with the U.S. Army, has announced potential plans to seek proposals for COVID-19 deterrent prototypes.

The military wants to test and deploy new technologies designed to detect, prevent, contain and treat the COVID-19 coronavirus and related future threats, the Army said Sunday.

MTEC’s announcement prompts the potential for one or multiple coronavirus-related proposal requests.

Areas of interest include COVID-19 exposure diagnostics, rapid COVID-19 treatment, disease predictive modeling and out-of-hospital patient monitoring.

Interested parties may submit questions on the effort through April 15. The government may emphasize technologies that can be used soon but by Dec. 31 at the latest.
