Microsoft has partnered with Veritone, the developer of artificial intelligence-based operating system aiWARE, to make the latter’s product available on the former’s Azure Government cloud platform.
The Costa Mesa, Calif.-based firm said Wednesday the move will enable government customers to benefit from Veritone’s AI-driven tools such as Veritone IDentify, Redact, Illuminate and Developer through the government cloud as well as the Azure Marketplace.
Ryan Steelberg, president of Veritone, said agencies using Azure can deploy Veritone’s AI offerings to analyze large volumes of data to meet mission goals and transform operations.
“This collaboration enables government customers to tap into the latest innovations in AI as well as future applications resulting from the collaboration between Veritone and Microsoft on our Azure Government cloud platform,†noted Kirk Arthur, senior director for worldwide public safety and justice at Microsoft.
Veritone’s IDentify is designed to support law enforcement investigations through video and image analysis features, while Veritone Redact works to help authorities obtain sensitive information from evidence files. Meanwhile, Veritone Illuminate and Developer are intended for processing massive amounts of structured and unstructured data.
