Cambridge International Systems has secured a delivery order from the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command to continue the performance of support services to a surveillance technology used by the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
The company said Monday it will deliver equipment, integration, testing, construction, installation and training services in line with the Maritime Surveillance System as part of the delivery order, which was procured via the Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence Integrated International Solutions contract vehicle.
MSS works to equip the RBDF with maritime domain awareness on basic littoral areas in the Carribean region. The company is slated to install and implement the system along an automatic identification tool and a manned radar system at the island of Great Inagua in the Bahamas.
Prior to the award, Cambridge provided 26 MSS platforms and eight Regional Command Centers in various countries, including Colombia and Iraq.
