Bloomberg Government expects the Department of Transportation‘s Federal Transit Administration to begin soliciting for the Project Management Oversight multiple-award contract this fall, the media firm said Tuesday.
The estimated $750 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract calls for firms to evaluate prime transportation projects including capital investment grants and rail modernization; manage project caseloads; and verify the technical capacities of grantees, the report noted.
The department will host an industry event for the contract on Aug. 7.
Registration for the event closed in June.
The contract succeeds a similar multiple-award contract given in September 2014. It also had an estimated value of $750 million.
