The FBI seeks proposals from vendors that can provide commercial off-the-shelf enterprise business process management software.
The bureau said Tuesday in a FedBizOpps notice that its existing Enterprise Process Automation System is based on an OpenText-built BPM platform that will no longer be supported beyond fiscal year 2018.
The agency wants an enterprise software that can help 51,000 employees and contractors perform a range of business activities including operational, administrative and executive functions.
Interested vendors must offer platforms that meet security requirements at the unclassified, secret and top secret levels, and can protect systems against unauthorized views and data leaks.
Proposed products should also be able to handle changing workloads, at least 1,000 concurrent users, more than 51,000 non-concurrent users and system interactions.
The FBI requires a software interface that promotes user engagement and enterprise branding.
Companies should present options for other Justice Department components to acquire similar software products and services, either on a component-by-component basis or through a consolidated contract to serve up to 100,000 personnel.
Responses to the solicitation are due March 14.
