The Defense Department has selected Carahsoft to supply ForeScout Technologies-built software and services as a facilitating partner via a military enterprise-wide blanket purchasing agreement.
Carahsoft said Tuesday it will distribute ForeScout software including the ForeScout CounterAct agentless security system, ControlFabric Architecture, ForeScout training and ActiveCare support services, Enterprise Manager and Extended Modules for third-party orchestration to aid global activities of DoD, Coast Guard and intelligence communities.
ForeScout Technologies inked an agreement with the DoD to sell network security products, maintenance and support services under the Enterprise Software Initiative with the help of reseller partners Alamo City Engineering Services, Carahsoft, DLT Solutions, immixTechnology and Patriot Technologies.
The ESI program was established to accelerate the military’s acquisition and fielding of commercial software, IT hardware and services.
“With the addition of ForeScout to our cybersecurity offerings, we are able to deliver device visibility across both traditional [information technology] infrastructures and unmanaged [operational technology] device environments for DoD customers and reseller partners,” said Alex Whitworth, sales director at Carahsoft.
