United Technologies Corp. has appointed Diane Bryant, Intel executive vice president, to become a member of the global industrial conglomerate’s board of directors effective Jan. 1. 2017.
Bryant currently leads the development of platforms for the digital services industry as general manager of Intel’s data center group, UTCÂ said Wednesday.
UTC CEO Greg Hayes said Bryant’s technology and digital economy expertise will help the company to execute strategies for customers and shareholders.
Her career at Intel also includes time as corporate vice president and chief information officer, when she was responsible for the corporate-wide information technology offerings in support of growth and efficiency business strategies.
She is a recipient of the World Affairs and Global Philanthropy Forum’s Global Citizen Award and was named as one of the 50 most powerful women in business for 2015 and 2016 by Fortune Magazine.
