Jonathan Couch, co-founder and former vice president of iSIGHT Partners, has joined ThreatQuotient as vice president for strategy at the Reston, Virginia-based enterprise security technology company.
ThreatQuotient said Wednesday he will work to develop the company’s software roadmap and partnership strategy as well as collaborate with its partners and clients to help them secure their business operations.
“Couch has a deep understanding of the threat intelligence market and the challenges organizations face when trying to get the most out of their security resources,” said John Czupak, ThreatQuotient president and CEO.
“As we continue to execute on our vision of being the foremost authority on operationalizing threat intelligence, we are excited to welcome Couch as the latest industry veteran to our team,” Czupak added.
Couch holds 20 years of information security, warfare and collection experience and his background includes work on cyber warfare, cybersecurity and information operations and policy.
He helped establish iSIGHT Partners in 2007 and worked in a VP role there prior to the threat intelligence firm’s acquisition by FireEye early this year.
He also previously led a research and development team at information technology services contractor Sytex, which Lockheed Martin bought in 2005.
The electrical engineering graduate also served in the U.S. Air Force and was assigned at the National Security Agency, the Air Force Information Warfare Center and the Joint Task Force in Saudi Arabia during his military service.
