NASA has awarded a five-year, $21 million contract to an ASRC Federal subsidiary for support services to the space agency’s leadership training initiatives.
ASRC Federal Data Solutions will work to help NASA develop curriculum and knowledge sharing services for the agency’s efforts to develop and train its technical workforce, ASRC Federal said Tuesday.
The Academy of Program/Project and Engineering Leadership program is targeted to NASA employees in the systems engineering, engineering and program and project management.
“Managing the leadership training for NASA’s next generation of managers and project leads is a tremendous responsibility and opportunity,†said Mark Gray, ASRC Federal president and CEO.
APPEL offers a curriculum designed to make use of methodologies based on empirical research and aerospace and knowledge management industry developments.
ASRC Federal Data Solutions will also support international collaboration and help implement electronic learning tools.
