A Dell business unit partnered with InfusionPoints to develop operations and security controls necessary to achieve a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for a cloud offering.
Dell Services Federal Government received the provisional authorization-to-operate from FedRAMP’s joint authorization board for the Dell Cloud for U.S. Government platform following an audit conducted by J.D. Biggs and Associates as an independent third-party assessment organization, Dell said Friday.

“This is an exciting time for us – not only because we met the comprehensive requirements and standards of FedRAMP – but we are now even more confident in serving our federal customers and their move to cloud adoption,†said George Newstrom, president and general manager of DSFG.
DCG is an infrastructure-as-a-service cloud platform designed for federal, state, local and tribal government agencies as well as government contractors, federally funded research and development centers and higher education institutions, according to a description posted on FedRAMP’s website.
