Harris Corp. has ordered $35 million in radio frequency microelectronic products from Cobham in support of Harris’ electronic warfare program.
Cobham will produce the RF microelectronics at its San Jose and San Diego facilities, Cobham said Monday.
“By leveraging our deep expertise in radio frequency technologies, we are able to provide our customers with high levels of technical performance in demanding environments,” said Andy Graven, senior vice president and general manager of Cobham microelectronic solutions.
Harris intends for its EW program to help military agencies defend against surface-to-air and air-to-air radar guided threats.
