ISC has called on speakers from government, academia and industry to address the company’s annual cybersecurity training event in May at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington.
The 4th ISC CyberSecureGov will focus on prevention, detection and resilience and speakers will address various issues such as cloud security, threats, critical infrastructure protection, automation, incident response and identity access management, ISC said Tuesday.
“With a unique perspective on what is at stake, cybersecurity professionals are being called as agents of change to influence and empower the government’s progress at all levels and in new ways,†said Dan Waddell, managing director for North America region and director of U.S. government affairs at ISC.
Keynote speakers who will attend the event include Jennifer Golbeck, director of the University of Maryland’s human-computer interaction laboratory; and David Bray, Harvard visiting executive in-residence, Eisenhower fellow and chief information officer for the Federal Communications Commission.
