Boeing and European defense group Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa have partnered to pursue business opportunities in the Polish Armed Forces’ technical modernization plan.
Boeing and PGZ member companies will collaborate to maintain defense systems, combine Polish systems with Boeing technologies, integrate PGZ companies into Boeing’s supply chain, and conduct defense research and development activities under the agreement, Boeing said Wednesday.
“PGZ member-companies are diverse and have the potential to play an even larger role in the international aerospace and defense industry,†said Jeff Kohler, Boeing’s vice president of international business development for defense, space and security.
“Collaboration opportunities available through Boeing’s expansive military, commercial, security and space portfolios can turn potential into reality for PGZ,†added Kohler.
PGZ companies and Boeing’s AH-64E Apache team that comprises General Electric, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and Longbow have also formed partnerships to identify opportunities in Poland’s Kruk program.
