NTT Communications Corp. has introduced a virtual desktop product with the aim of helping enterprise clients integrate computing systems into a standardized cloud environment.
The Enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure is built to help organizations manage, secure and access overseas information technology assets from within the U.S., NTT said Thursday.
According to NTT, the platform gives users access to the firm’s cloud-based network service Arcstar Universal One.
NTT also created a business portal where customers can make operating system images or add new accounts.
The virtual desktop offering is designed with a Citrix Systems technology that works to retain data during screen transfers with computers, tablets and mobile devices.
