Telesat has partnered with General Dynamics and Ball Aerospace to demonstrate space-based data exploitation and processing approaches with the use of commercial satellite technology. The partnerships will use Telesat-built satellite and network emulation systems for live demo events in support of the U.S. Air Force's Commercially Augmented Space Inter Networked Operations program.


The Maxar and Thales Alenia Space Consortium has advanced its detailed and low-risk designs for Telesat“™s LEO system, including system optimization, engineering trade-offs, requirements development and technology prototyping to establish compelling and mature designs for Telesat LEO“™s space, ground and user terminal segments, Maxar announced on Monday.
